Welcome to Hooked on Games!
Hooked on Games consists of 15 session plans based on the Play-Practice-Play coaching approach. Sessions plans are approximately 90 minutes in length and are ideal for coaches working with players from Phases 2 to 3 of Hockey Ireland’s Long Term Player Development Model. Each session allows coaches and players to focus on technical development in decision-making scenarios. Plans are designed to develop hockey players using a games-based approach that incorporates developing techniques into skills. Elements of each session would also be applicable to senior level hockey.
